Day 1 |
Arrive Entebbe (early), pick up and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
We hope your flight is scheduled to arrive in Entebbe early (before 14:00). Your safari will begin at the Entebbe International Airport, where you will be met by an English-speaking Professional Tour Driver-guide and driven to Kibale Forest National Park. The park is well-known for its primates, which include chimps, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Uganda mangabeys (Lophocebus ugandae).

Day 2 |
Morning chimp tracking. Lunch and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.After breakfast, proceed to the rangers' post, where you will be briefed on the dos and don'ts of chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will trek chimps in the Kibale Forest. An experienced ranger guide will take you chimp tracking (Kibale Forest), and the presence of primates here will astound you. You will have an hour in the chimps' presence once you locate them. You will return to the lodge for lunch before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park. #Optional (free): Before heading to the lodge, you may go on a brief afternoon-evening game drive. If you enjoy seeing scenery, you could also take the explosion crater drive if you love scenery sightings. |

Day 3 |
Morning game drive/safari. Afternoon boat safari - Kazinga Channel.Be up early and have your breakfast. Proceed for a morning game drive/safari in the Kasenyi plains and be on the look for Cape buffalos, herds of elephants plus lions, leopards (though hard to spot) among others. Return to the accommodation for some rest time and lunch. After lunch, you will go for a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. During the trip, the sight of wildlife including giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others will fascinate you. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water shores. #Optional: If interested, you may go for a brief late afternoon-to-evening game viewing and then, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. |

Day 4 |
Travel to Ishasha in search of tree-climbing lions. Connect to Bwindi National Park.After a leisurely breakfast, travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for its resident tree-climbing lions. The chances of seeing these lions are roughly 70%, though they can be difficult to spot at times (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). If you happen to see them, it's a beautiful and memorable sight. You will travel from Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With a long day ahead of you, you will do little on arrival except check into your accommodation and relax before your Bwindi gorilla trekking adventure the next day. #Optional (extra cost): You may consider a visit to the Katwe Salt Lake before setting off to Ishasha. At Katwe, one can learn a bit about salt extraction by the local community in the area. It’s an educative experience. |

Day 5 |
Gorilla trekking Bwindi Forest. Transfer to Lake Mburo NP for overnight.After breakfast, proceed to the rangers' post. You will be briefed (by a ranger guide) on the dos and don'ts. Following that, you will enter the Bwindi Forest to begin your adventure. This rain forest is breathtakingly beautiful! The area has a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is extremely dense, but it is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails that allow tourists access. The time and terrain vary according to the movements of these great primates. You will be allowed an hour in the presence of a gorilla group once you have located one. Spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is an unforgettable experience. Return to the accommodation, check out and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for an overnight stay. |

Day 6 |
Morning walking safari. Afternoon boat trip/safari. Relax at the lodge.Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for a morning park (bush) walk in the company of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. On this morning guided walk, you will have the chance to see (up close and personal) Zebras, Giraffes and Eland, Topi and other antelope, Cape buffaloes, and other animals. Take the Trail to the top of the hills for a panoramic view of Lake Mburo and beyond. #Optional (at an additional cost): Instead of walking safari, consider cycling or horseback safari (all in the park). You will return to the lodge for some rest and lunch before embarking on a lake boat trip/safari. Return home and unwind. #Optional (at an additional cost): If you are interested, you may consider a night game drive to see nocturnal wildlife such as hyenas, leopards, snakes, and owls, to name but a few. |

Day 7 |
Relaxed breakfast. Return to Entebbe to Catch flight out (16:00hrs or later).This morning, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge. Thereafter, you will check out and return to Entebbe Airport. Expect a stop at the Uganda Equator crossing point to take some memorable photos or buy some interesting art pieces. Lunch will be served at one of the restaurants in Kampala or Entebbe, depending on your flight time. If you have a late evening/night flight, you may want to consider; #1Optional (at an additional cost): A visit to some tourist attractions in/around Kampala before departing for Entebbe Airport. #2Optional (at an additional cost): while in Entebbe, a) visit the Entebbe Botanical Garden to see some primates and birds, b) Mabamba wetland excursion in search of the shoebill stork, c) The Lake Victoria sunset/cheese and wine cruise departing at 5 p.m. to local islands and bays. |
